Blizzard CX1 Excellence

The Miele CX1 Blizzard Excellence Powerline is Miele answer to bagless vacuum cleaners, the cleaner has the usual Miele quality feel with well made tubes, handles and hose. The crevice tool and dusting brush are neatly stored at the back of the cleaner and the cleaner comes with an efficient floor nozzle. New to Miele is the development of a bagless cleaner that separates the dirt into 2 separate areas, fine dust and bigger particles, they are not the first to do this but it is an efficient system which they call Vortex, please do not confuse with the old Hoover Vortex. Many bagless cleaners do suffer from a build up of fine dust in the cyclonic cambers which can reduce performance, Miele has developed a self cleaning system called Comfort Clean where you press a button and the Gortex filter is cleaned for about 20 seconds, once again not brand new technology as Bosch have something similar but Miele have caught up with the times and the Blizzard range has a lot of good features and is well made, although a little bit bulky. rating
